A Federal High Court Sitting in Lagos has requested the lasting relinquishment to the Federal Government, the whole of $8.4million and another N9.2billion connected to the wife of the previous President, Dame Patience Jonathan.
Justice Mojisola Olaterogun held that she neglected to indicate a sensible reason why the assets ought not to be forever relinquished.
The court found that the assets as asserted by the EFCC was sensibly associated to continue with wrongdoing according to Section 17 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offenses Act, 2006.
